Lehigh Valley Zoo and presenting sponsor Christmas Décor are filled with excitement for the most magical time of the year as they will kick off their fifth season of Winter Light Spectacular on Friday, November 9, 2018!
Last season, the popular nighttime fundraiser for the Zoo attracted over 63,400 guests from over 9 different states across 38 event nights. This season’s
Winter Light Spectacular will feature 37 scheduled event nights. Winter Light Spectacular runs 5:30PM – 10:00PM on Wednesday through Sunday from November 9, 2018, to December 30, 2018. The event will be on break for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Winter Light Spectacular is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Lehigh Valley Zoo, the leader in animal conservation in the Lehigh Valley. Revenue from these fundraisers go towards animal conservation projects at the zoo to benefit all of their beautiful animals and conservation programs right here in the Lehigh Valley.
Bundle up and enjoy the beauty of nature as you stroll through tree-lined paths lit up by over 1.1 million twinkling lights and themed animated displays! Warm-up next to the cozy outdoor fire pits, while enjoying hot cocoa and s’mores. Don’t forget the camera to capture the children’s delight when they encounter Santa, The Grinch, Woody, Buzz, Elsa, Princess Belle, Olaf, Minions and friends!
Penn Football's Homecoming Game vs. Harvard

UPenn Football celebrates homecoming with a game against Harvard!
Historic Franklin Field is a legendary, yet somewhat under-the-radar stadium that sits right in the shadow of Philadelphia’s Center City. The stadium dates all the way back to 1895 and served as the home of the Philadelphia Eagles from 1958 to 1970. The University of Pennsylvania has five home games at Franklin Field this fall, including their homecoming game against Harvard University on Saturday, November 10.

Kickoff to the Holidays on Friday, November 9, 5:30 - 9:00 PM Festive fun, caroling and tree lighting lead up to the Village-wide Grand Illumination Celebration on November 16th.
We begin with Mrs. Claus' Magical arrival at Giggleberry Fair
- Mrs. Claus will greet guests for selfies and "Wish List" Letter Writing to Santa.
- Free hot cider, hot chocolate and cookies for all!
- Enjoy a Christmas sing-a-long with Lolly & Yoyo.
- Make a free tree ornament with Santa’s Elves. Your ornament will hang on the tree at Giggleberry Fair ready for Santa’s arrival on November 16 in the Village.
